Thomas Bartoo began his career in the summer of 1986 as an intern with an architectural firm in Chattanooga, Tennessee. While advancing through the curriculum at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville (UTK) College of Architecture, Mr. Bartoo worked with various firms and furthered his understanding of the profession by working as a laborer in the construction field. In 1995, after completing a five-year architecture program and four years of internships, Mr. Bartoo passed the architectural registration exam and officially started his professional practice as recognized by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB). Mr. Bartoo later founded Method Architecture LLC May 1, 2008, and is currently a registered and licensed architect in sixteen states.
Mr. Bartoo is active in the American Institute of Architects and maintains his professional licensure and education thru continuing education courses and seminars presented by various associated industries such as: National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), City of Chattanooga Storm Water Management, Tile Council of America, National Tile Contractor’s Association, Tennessee Masonry Institute Inspectors Certification Courses, and other construction related seminars.
